Theme passage: John 12:24-26

Emphasis:

As Christians living in the comforts invented by the contemporary advent of technology and ideas that offer a faster (less waiting), and "easier" (the-better-feel) way of life, we are all subject to the temptation of reshaping the message of the gospel according to our culture rather than just allowing the gospel to reshape our "norm."

Some definitions in light of our relationship with Christ then become "relative" or something that we'd rather say "as according to his/her own conviction..." The phrase gained fame easily as it offers a gospel that is "tailor-suited" to each and everyone's individual comfort.
